Mesquite sand dunes in Death Valley National Park located in southern California are surrounded by dark, rocky mountain ranges. Cottonwoods, Grapevines and Tucki Mountain. Weathered by wind and rain, parent the sands by yielding particles of magnetite, quartz and other minerals. The dunes is about 80 feet height.
